Stressed? well relax a little bit

Hey readers,
well yeah who doesn´t know these stressfull days or should I say weeks?
I do, I do. But hey as I recognized the last few days is, that you should take your stress serious and figure out what you have to do but you need some time to calm down.

It doesn´t help when you don´t take a little break from all that stress. Ok it sounds much easier than it really is but I give it a try. At the moment I have exams but still have to be present at all my lessons so the only thing I thought / think was/is  HELP! But I figured to manage all this :) & in one week my semester is over. Finally whoooop

So here 10 advices :

  1. plan your day, don´t get up with any idea what you´ll do today. Make yourself a little plan when you eat, learn and take a little break an even take one day for meal prep
  2. don´t start to eat crap during your learning sessions, your mind needs energie to work so eat veggies and fruits or nuts when you have a little as the French would say,, creux´´
  3. don´t stress when you can´t got to the gym for a week. you will not gain 10 pounds in a week Well with pizza burgers and so on perhaps haha. Just do a little 20 min. home workout or go for a little run to get some fresh air and free your mind or do some yoga
  4. don´t learn the entire day, start your day with a good breakfast and then learn 1-2 hours and take a break where you do something else.
  5. don´t listen to your friends who say you don´t have to study so hard or that you have to study really hard. You know how much you have to learn everyone is different
  6. don´t try to learn EVERYTHING take a look and note yourself the most important things
  7. don´t start one day before exam otherwise you will freak out and that doesn´t really help ;)
  8. be creative or meet your friends for 1-2 hours.
  9. sleep enough ! take your 8 hrs of sleep otherwise after a few days your brain isn´t able to concentrate anymore. Before going to bed revise and then don´t think about it anymore so that your body and brain can come to rest.
  10. believe in yourself that you can manage this because if you don´t, nobody will

So stay positive, don´t panic & drink some tea  ;)

Fancy cake pops

Morning everyone!
Well I´ve been quite busy the last 1 1/2 weeks cause I´ve got so much stuff to do for university. But at least this I got or well let´s say I took my time to try a new recipe.

This one is about cake pops but without such a fancy cake pop maker. But if you want one you cant click here to get one. This is not that expensive :) For my fancy cake pops I only needed very basic ingredients. (vegan) I chose a chocolate cake but you make these with any cake you like.
I can tell you these cake pops taste sooooo good and they are very easy to do.

So here we go!

For about 15 cake pops you need:
  • 200gr  wheat flour
  • 150 gr brown sugar ( can be replaced by stevia)
  • 1 pack. vanilla sugar
  • 40 gr cocoa powder
  •  salt
  • 250ml warm water
  • 75ml oil ( olive or sunflower)
To form the pops  & to decorate:
  • some soy milk
  • if you like you can use some sepuklatius creme
  • 150- 200 gr dark chocolate
  • coconut flakes
  • chia seed
  • other decoration for ex. strawberries, banana, nuts
  • 15 swekers
How to do:
  1.  Mix all the dry inregients together
  2.  Mix the wet ingredients and add them to your dry ones & stir well
  3.  Put you dough into your baking form & bake for about 10-15 min. if your form is quite thin otherwise your cake will take around 40-45 min. ( just check your dough from time to time with a sweker)
  4. When your cake has cooled down blend it to crumbs
  5. Add some soymilk and spekulatius creme until you can form your pops
  6. Roll some little balls
  7. Freeze them for 10min.
  8. Meanwhile you can heat your dark chocolate in a waterbath
  9. Now put your pops on your swekers and then cover them with chocolate
  10. Put your pops immediately into the coconut flakes or chia seeds or whatever you like
& done
Enjoy!

P.s put them into your fridge so the chocolate can harden & they are perfect as a little gift or a kids birthday ;)

Potato patties

Hey guys,
I hope you are doing well and you had a great sunday and weekend. I mean most of us got some snow. Finally :D . Today I want to show you what I yummi idea I had last week when I didn´t know what to cook. I thought about potatoes as they are good carbs but well tricky me as I don´t really like simple potatoes. haha I know most of you can´t understand & so does my boyfriend. Cause his favorite meal is made of potatoes. ;) But everybody got his fav. vegetables.

I decided to make some potatoe patties cause I like these ;) Well I like any other form than simple potatoes.

So I had a quick look into my Vegan for Starters book which has a recipe for yummi vegan patties.
They have 2 different variants of patties I only made one but I´ll give you the recipe for the two.

For 4 people you need:
  • 1kg of potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp potato flour
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 fresh tomato or 30 gr dried tomatoes without oil
  • 5-10 fresh basilicum leaves
  • Applesauce-> get my recipe here
Preparation:

  1. Peel your potatotes & grate them
  2. Add salt and pepper
  3. Add the potato flour and mix it well
  4. Cut your two onions into small pieces and add them to the potatoes
  5. Cut your tomato into pieces & add to the potatoes
  6. Wash and cut your basilicum into small pieces and add to your potatoes
  7. Stir well
  8. Heat some olive oil in your pan
  9. Take one Tbsp of your potato mix and put it into your pan and press them ass a little ´pancake´

& done, add your apple sauce and enjoy with some salad or some soup
P.S you can also grate some carrots or zuchhini

Sushi part 1

Hey readers,
well today is such a rainy day and so to bright it up I got the first recipe of the year for you.
My lovely boyfriend made me an amazing present for Christmas. I had no idea what present I would get from him so when he gave me my two presents for Christmas I opened them and screamed and I felt like a kid again.

He gave me a big Japanese cooking book and a DIY sushi box! OMG I love sushi and he doesn´t. So it was a big surprise for me that he offers me this present as he can´t benefit from it :P

So todays post is about my first try to make sushi.

In the box I got:

  • 2 pairs of chopsticks
  • 1 sushi mat
  • 1 small recipe book
  • 1 knife to cut the sushi rolls
  • 3 little boxes to form your sushis

What you need for 3 suhsi rolls:
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/4 cumcumber
  • some salad
  • 250gr of sushi rice
  • 3 Tbsp of sushi vinegar
  • 2-3 nori sheets / seaweed
  • soy sauce

How to do:
  1. take 250 gr of sushi rice, wash it a few times until you have clear water then cook it until the water is gone
  2. take a nori sheet and distribute the rice. IMPORTANT-  your hands have to be wet and cold otherwise the rice will adhere on your hands
  3. cut your veggies into long slices
  4. put them on your rice
  5. now roll your sushi together, be sure that you roll tightly
  6. cut your roll into pieces
  7. fill a little bowl with soy sauce
& enjoy!

new year, new me?

Hi followers,
Happy New Year to all of you, may your dreams come true!
I didn´t post anything the last 2 weeks, even I was on Christmas holidays  I had no time to write a new post. I am sorry for that but now I am back and 2016 I am so ready for you!

I guess most of you have some goals for this year. As we always say new year, new me. But why?
I can´t understand why so many people only change their behaviour or their lifestyle at new years eve? I mean, why do you can´t change your life on any other day? I am not saying that it is stupid to have some new goals for the upcoming year but hey you can change your life everyday.

I think it is natural that we all hope the best when a new year has started. When I look back at 2015 I find out that it was a really tough year. The year started quite good but  I´ve been through good and bad times. Espescially the last three months were the most difficult ones but I never gave up. I learned that whatever happens: Family goes first! That´s why I´d love to thank my mum, dad, sister and boyfriend who´s in my opinion already part of my family ,for being  there when I needed them the most. I met some new beautiful people and some left. I had an amazing summer but also some though study nights.
Therefore I am not the one who wishes to much. I mean I hope that 2016 is in some ways better than 2015 but you can never be sure. Therefore I always say: Just do it & hope for the best & hey nobody can steal your hope.

I don´t really have new goals cause when I want to change something I do it on any other day. My ´goals´ were already on my mind before the new year has started and so I am just going on as I finished 2015. They only thing I already changed in 2016 is my haircut (haha) ;)

My old / new list is quite small
  • finish my bachelor this summer & start my master
  • be with people I love
  • eat clean & work out
  • enjoy every moment
  • save money for a bigger trip
