another year another time, same city

well well the week in London passed very fast. I am happy that I had a nice week in my favorite city.

On monday morning at 8 a.m we started our trip. First we had to go to Paris where we made a little stop and drank a cafe or tea. Then we took the Eurostar to London. We arrived at 1. p.m. We had a small hotel just in front of the Kings Cross St. Pancras Station. Our rooms were as I expected quite okay.

On our first journey we visited the St. Pancras Station, a church and made a walk to Regents Park and to end this long journey we had a yummi dinner at Euston Pub.

The second day after a comfy night we had a little breakfast and left quite early as our plan was very long. We visited Westminster Abbey, the House of Parliament the Tate Britain Museum and Buckingham Palace. After a 10hrs programm I was happy to go for some late night shopping but I didn´t find anything that evening.

On wednesday we were on top of the St.Pauls Cathedral where you can get a nice view all over London! I loved it! After that we went across the Milenium Bridge a must see for every harry potter fan ;) & visited the Tate Modern museum. OMG i L O V E D it.

We all waited for thursday because we had 1/2 day off! SHOPPING & getting the real London feeling was the plan. In the morning we visited Kew Gardens as we were 1 hour to early we had a coffee/tea and afterwards we walked through the gardens. Then at 2 p.m we finally had our freetime. We went to Hardy's sweet store where you can buy small chocolate frogs nomnom. We shopped at the oxford street stores. For ex: pull & bear, Disney, victoria secret & so on.

Friday was THE museum day we went to The National Gallery & The National Portrait Gallery and did some Covent Garden window shopping.

On Saturday we walked through the Hide Park and visited Kensington Palace & The V&A Museum. For our last evening and so our last dinner we were in little venice.

Sunday was our very last day :( we got up quite early as we had to pack our luggage and as very last Museum we visited The British Museum and took our eurostar train at 1.30 p.m.
& the 'highlight' or let me call it a disaster was that our ICE train couldn't leave the paris est station ass a TGV hurt a person on our way so we waited there for 5hrs!! Omg worst journey ever! At 12 a.m we finally rolled out of the trainstation and had to drive to Strasbourg and from there to Karlsruhe, Mannheim & finally Saarbrücken.
On monday morning at 7.30 a.m I've been in bed. FINALLY :-D

I hope you got some inspiration to visit my favorite city!
